All Wizard Of Auz jewellery is covered by a full 12 month warranty, from the date of retail purchase, covering all manufacturing faults. There is no warranty on mineral specimens, carvings, gemstones for setting, or beads. These items are returnable through our 14 day money-back policy after the purchase, but once accepted, they are considered to be devoid of defects and/or manufacturing errors.
Our jewellery is made to a very high standard. In most cases it will last a lifetime (or several), but due to the nature of materials like gemstones and silver, stones will occasionally fall out or joins will weaken. This is rare but it happens. Every piece of jewellery we sell has been rigorously tested by our smiths and by us for all possible weaknesses.
Should you experience any problems caused by manufacturing faults, we will, at our discretion, repair, exchange, or give you a refund on the purchase price of the item. Postage charges are not refundable. Gift wrapping charges will be refunded. If the stone falls out, please return it to us with the jewellery.
Exclusions;
- When stones become loose or fall out more than 60 days after purchase but were firm when sold, it is considered the responsibility of the wearer. Failure to inform us of loose stones after they have been purchased means that we consider them firmly set.
- Items that have signs of extreme wear & tear relative to the time they have been purchased.
- Damage caused by the carelessness of the wearer, or by the piece being worn or used in an unreasonable way (as deemed by us). This includes bathing, showering, swimming, hot-tubs/spas, sports, trekking, the beach, partying, natural springs (which can contain sulphur).
- Items that have been cleaned using machines or dips.
- Items that have been altered in any way, even by professionals.
